Eastman Profile

Overview

Eastman is a tiny village located in the state of Wisconsin. With a population of 410 people and just one neighborhood, Eastman is the 452nd largest community in Wisconsin. Much of the housing stock in Eastman was built prior to World War II, making it one of the older and more historic villages in the country.

Occupations and Workforce

Because occupations involving physical labor dominate the local economy, Eastman is generally considered to be a blue-collar town. 35.29% of the Eastman workforce is employed in blue-collar occupations, compared to the national average of 27.7%. Overall, Eastman is a village of service providers, professionals, and sales and office workers. There are especially a lot of people living in Eastman who work in office and administrative support (10.78%), maintenance occupations (9.80%), and management occupations (9.31%).

Setting & Lifestyle

The village is relatively quiet, having a combination of lower population density and few of those groups of people who have a tendency to be noisy. For example, Eastman has relatively fewer families with younger children, and/or college students. Combined, this makes Eastman a pretty quiet place to live overall. If you like quiet, you will probably enjoy it here.

As is often the case in a small village, Eastman doesn't have a public transportation system that people use for their commute.

Eastman Demographics

In Eastman, just 11.34% of people have at least a bachelor's degree, which is quite a bit lower than the national average for cities and towns of 21.84%.
