Overview

Mesquite is a very small town located in the state of New Mexico. With a population of 1,128 people and just one neighborhood, Mesquite is the 86th largest community in New Mexico.

Occupations and Workforce

Unlike some towns, Mesquite isn’t mainly white- or blue-collar. Instead, the most prevalent occupations for people in Mesquite are a mix of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Mesquite is a town of sales and office workers, construction workers and builders, and service providers. There are especially a lot of people living in Mesquite who work in office and administrative support (38.55%), sales jobs (20.36%), and maintenance occupations (7.64%).

The town is relatively quiet, having a combination of lower population density and few of those groups of people who have a tendency to be noisy.
