Delaware, OH Housing Market Trends

With a population of 41,283, 14,511 total housing units (homes and apartments), and a median house value of $218,990, Delaware real estate prices are well above average cost compared to national prices.

Single-family detached homes are the single most common housing type in Delaware, accounting for 61.57% of the city's housing units. Other types of housing that are prevalent in Delaware include large apartment complexes or high rise apartments ( 16.57%), duplexes, homes converted to apartments or other small apartment buildings ( 11.93%), and a few row houses and other attached homes ( 7.79%).
