Islandia is a very small village located in the state of New York. With a population of 3,382 people and just one neighborhood, Islandia is the 434th largest community in New York.

Housing costs in Islandia are among some of the highest in the nation, although real estate prices here don't compare to real estate prices in the most expensive communities in New York.

Occupations and Workforce

Islandia is neither predominantly blue-collar nor white-collar, instead having a mixed workforce of both blue-collar and white-collar jobs. Overall, Islandia is a village of sales and office workers, service providers, and professionals. There are especially a lot of people living in Islandia who work in office and administrative support (16.00%), management occupations (10.70%), and sales jobs (9.82%).
