Alexis is a tiny village located in the state of Illinois. With a population of 809 people and just one neighborhood, Alexis is the 675th largest community in Illinois. Alexis has an unusually large stock of pre-World War II architecture, making it one of the older and more historic villages.

Instead, it has a mixed workforce of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Alexis is a village of professionals, sales and office workers, and service providers.
