Lancaster is a very small city located in the state of Wisconsin. With a population of 3,785 people and just one neighborhood, Lancaster is the 164th largest community in Wisconsin. Much of the housing stock in Lancaster was built prior to World War II, making it one of the older and more historic cities in the country.
Occupations and Workforce
Unlike some cities where white-collar or blue-collar occupations dominate the local economy, Lancaster is neither predominantly one nor the other. Instead, it has a mixed workforce of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Lancaster is a city of sales and office workers, professionals and service providers. There are especially a lot of people living in Lancaster who work in office and administrative support (13.94%), management occupations (10.33%) and personal care services (7.22%).
