Virgilina is a tiny town located in the state of Virginia. With a population of 143 people and just one neighborhood, Virgilina is the 356th largest community in Virginia. Much of the housing stock in Virgilina was built prior to World War II, making it one of the older and more historic towns in the country.

Unlike some towns where white-collar or blue-collar occupations dominate the local economy, Virgilina is neither predominantly one nor the other. Instead, it has a mixed workforce of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Virgilina is a town of professionals, managers and transportation and shipping workers. There are especially a lot of people living in Virgilina who work in healthcare (22.45%), management occupations (14.29%) and computer science and math (8.16%).
