Cadott Profile

Overview

Cadott is a very small village located in the state of Wisconsin. With a population of 1,426 people and just one neighborhood, Cadott is the 299th largest community in Wisconsin.

Occupations and Workforce

Unlike some villages where white-collar or blue-collar occupations dominate the local economy, Cadott is neither predominantly one nor the other. Instead, it has a mixed workforce of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Cadott is a village of service providers, sales and office workers, and professionals. There are especially a lot of people living in Cadott who work in office and administrative support (14.07%), food service (7.12%), and management occupations (7.12%).

Setting & Lifestyle

It is a fairly quiet village because there are relatively few of those groups of people who have a tendency to be noisy. (Children, for example, often can't help themselves from being noisy, and being parents ourselves, we know!) Cadott has relatively few families with children living at home, and is quieter because of it. Renters and college students, for their own reasons, can also be noisy. Cadott has few renters and college students. But the biggest reason it is quieter in Cadott than in most places in America, is that there are just simply fewer people living here. If you think trees make good neighbors, Cadott may be for you.

Being a small village, Cadott does not have a public transit system used by locals to get to and from work.

Cadott Demographics

In terms of college education, the citizens of Cadott rank slightly lower than the national average. 15.04% of adults 25 and older in Cadott have a bachelor's degree or advanced degree, while 21.84% of adults have a 4-year degree or higher in the average American community.

The per capita income in Cadott in 2010 was $20,974, which is lower middle income relative to Wisconsin and the nation. This equates to an annual income of $83,896 for a family of four.

The people who call Cadott home describe themselves as belonging to a variety of racial and ethnic groups. The greatest number of Cadott residents report their race to be White, followed by Asian. Important ancestries of people in Cadott include Irish, Norwegian, Polish, and Czech.

The most common language spoken in Cadott is English. Other important languages spoken here include Tagalog and Polish.
