Delta is a very small city located in the state of Utah. With a population of 3,482 people and just one neighborhood, Delta is the 93rd largest community in Utah.

Occupations and Workforce

Because occupations involving physical labor dominate the local economy, Delta is generally considered to be a blue-collar town. 40.29% of the Delta workforce is employed in blue-collar occupations, compared to the national average of 27.7%. Overall, Delta is a city of professionals, service providers, and sales and office workers. There are especially a lot of people living in Delta who work in teaching (9.79%), farm management occupations (9.50%), and sales jobs (8.36%).

One of the benefits of Delta is that there is very little traffic. The average commute to work is 18.96 minutes, which is substantially less than the national average. Not only does this mean that the drive to work is less aggravating, but noise and pollution levels are lower as a result.
