With a population of 9,966, 4,291 total housing units (homes and apartments), and a median house value of $532,921, real estate costs in Lincoln City are among some of the highest in the nation, although house prices here don't compare to real estate prices in the most expensive Oregon communities.

Single-family detached homes are the single most common housing type in Lincoln City, accounting for 71.69% of the city's housing units.
