Jordan is a very small village located in the state of New York. With a population of 1,333 people and just one neighborhood, Jordan is the 665th largest community in New York. Jordan has an unusually large stock of pre-World War II architecture, making it one of the older and more historic villages.

Unlike some villages where white-collar or blue-collar occupations dominate the local economy, Jordan is neither predominantly one nor the other. Instead, it has a mixed workforce of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Jordan is a village of professionals, sales and office workers and service providers.
