Houston is a tiny city located in the state of Minnesota. With a population of 969 people and just one neighborhood, Houston is the 350th largest community in Minnesota. Houston has an unusually large stock of pre-World War II architecture, making it one of the older and more historic cities.
Occupations and Workforce
Unlike some cities where white-collar or blue-collar occupations dominate the local economy, Houston is neither predominantly one nor the other. Instead, it has a mixed workforce of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Houston is a city of service providers, sales and office workers and production and manufacturing workers. There are especially a lot of people living in Houston who work in office and administrative support (14.17%), food service (8.33%) and healthcare (7.50%).
