Alexandria, KY Housing Market Trends

With 10,570 people, 3,797 houses or apartments, and a median cost of homes of $345,865, Alexandria real estate is some of the most expensive in Kentucky, although Alexandria home values aren't among America's most expensive.

Single-family detached homes are the single most common housing type in Alexandria, accounting for 85.48% of the city's housing units. Other types of housing that are prevalent in Alexandria include large apartment complexes or high rise apartments ( 7.97%), row houses and other attached homes ( 5.58%).
