Kanorado is a tiny city located in the state of Kansas. With a population of 157 people and just one neighborhood, Kanorado is the 283rd largest community in Kansas. Kanorado has an unusually large stock of pre-World War II architecture, making it one of the older and more historic cities.
Occupations and Workforce
Unlike some cities where white-collar or blue-collar occupations dominate the local economy, Kanorado is neither predominantly one nor the other. Instead, it has a mixed workforce of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Kanorado is a city of sales and office workers, construction workers and builders and managers. There are especially a lot of people living in Kanorado who work in sales jobs (24.05%), art, media, and design (8.86%) and management occupations (7.59%).
Of important note, Kanorado is also a city of artists. Kanorado has more artists, designers and people working in media than 90% of the communities in America. This concentration of artists helps shape Kanorado’s character.
Setting & Lifestyle
Residents will find that the city is relatively quiet. This is because it is not over-populated, and it has fewer college students, renters, and young children - all of whom can be noisy at times. So, if you're looking for a relatively peaceful place to live, Kanorado is worth considering.
Compared to the rest of the country, citizens of Kanorado spend much less time in their cars: on average, their commute to work is only 18.75 minutes. This also means that noise and pollution levels in the city are less than they would otherwise be.
As is often the case in a small city, Kanorado doesn't have a public transportation system that people use for their commute.
