Kewaunee is a very small city located in the state of Wisconsin. With a population of 2,781 people and four constituent neighborhoods, Kewaunee is the 232nd largest community in Wisconsin. Kewaunee has a large stock of pre-World War II architecture, making it one of the older and more historic cities in the country.

Because occupations involving physical labor dominate the local economy, Kewaunee is generally considered to be a blue-collar town. 37.6% of the Kewaunee workforce is employed in blue-collar occupations, compared to the national average of 24.7%. Overall, Kewaunee is a city of professionals, sales and office workers, and production and manufacturing workers.
