Greenbank is a very small coastal town (ie. on the ocean or tidally-influenced rivers) located in the state of Washington. With a population of 1,339 people and just one neighborhood, Greenbank is the 225th largest community in Washington.

Of important note, Greenbank is also a town of artists. Greenbank has more artists, designers and people working in media than 90% of the communities in America. This concentration of artists helps shape Greenbank's character.

One interesting thing about the economy is that relatively large numbers of people worked from their homes - 9.91% of the workforce. While this number may seem small overall, as a fraction of the total workforce this is high compared to the rest of the county. These workers are often telecommuters who work in knowledge-based, white-collar professions. For example, Silicon Valley has large numbers of people who telecommute. Other at-home workers may be self-employed people who operate small businesses out of their homes.
The town is also nautical, which means that parts of Greenbank are somewhat historic and bounded by the ocean or tidal bodies of water, such as inlets and tidal rivers. Such areas are often places that visitors and locals go for waterfront activities or taking in the scenery. This is certainly the case with Greenbank, which has a vibrant tourist economy.
One downside of living in Greenbank, however, is that residents on average have to contend with a long commute, spending on average 51.95 minutes every day commuting to work.
As is often the case in a small town, Greenbank doesn't have a public transportation system that people use for their commute.
