About Columbia

Columbia is a somewhat small borough located in the state of Pennsylvania. With a population of 10,306 people and four constituent neighborhoods, Columbia is the 133rd largest community in Pennsylvania. Columbia has an unusually large stock of pre-World War II architecture, making it one of the older and more historic boroughs in the country.

When you are in Columbia, you'll notice that it is more blue-collar than most other communities in America. 43.9% of Columbia's employed work in blue-collar jobs, while America averages only 24.7% that do. Overall, Columbia is a borough of sales and office workers, production and manufacturing workers, and service providers.
