Dallas is a very small town located in the state of North Carolina. With a population of 3,414 people and three constituent neighborhoods, Dallas is the 230th largest community in North Carolina.

Because occupations involving physical labor dominate the local economy, Dallas is generally considered to be a blue-collar town. 46.5% of the Dallas workforce is employed in blue-collar occupations, compared to the national average of 24.7%. Overall, Dallas is a town of sales and office workers, construction workers and builders, and production and manufacturing workers. There are especially a lot of people living in Dallas who work in office and administrative support jobs (11.63%), sales jobs (11.56%), and management occupations (5.52%).
