Watervliet is a somewhat small city located in the state of New York. With a population of 10,207 people and four constituent neighborhoods, Watervliet is the 204th largest community in New York. Watervliet has an unusually large stock of pre-World War II architecture, making it one of the older and more historic cities in the country.
