Frankfort is a very small village located in the state of New York. With a population of 2,532 people and three constituent neighborhoods, Frankfort is the 554th largest community in New York. Much of the housing stock in Frankfort was built prior to World War II, making it one of the older and more historic villages in the country.

Frankfort is neither predominently blue-collar or white-collar, instead having a mixed workforce of both blue-collar and white-collar jobs. Overall, Frankfort is a village of sales and office workers, service providers, and professionals.
