Brockport is a somewhat small village located in the state of New York. With a population of 8,129 people and four constituent neighborhoods, Brockport is the 252nd largest community in New York. Brockport has a large stock of pre-World War II architecture, making it one of the older and more historic villages in the country.

Brockport is neither predominently blue-collar or white-collar, instead having a mixed workforce of both blue-collar and white-collar jobs.
