Avon-By-The-Sea is a very small coastal borough (ie. on the ocean or tidally-influenced rivers) located in the state of New Jersey. With a population of 2,237 people and just one neighborhood, Avon-By-The-Sea is the 447th largest community in New Jersey. Avon-By-The-Sea has an unusually large stock of pre-World War II architecture, making it one of the older and more historic boroughs in the country.
