Sun Valley is a somewhat small town located in the state of Nevada. With a population of 19,812 people and two constituent neighborhoods, Sun Valley is the 12th largest community in Nevada.

Unlike some towns where white-collar or blue-collar occupations dominate the local economy, Sun Valley is neither predominently one or the other. Instead, it has a mixed workforce of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Sun Valley is a town of sales and office workers, service providers, and construction workers and builders. There are especially a lot of people living in Sun Valley who work in office and administrative support jobs (19.54%), sales jobs (12.10%), and food service (7.63%).

As is often the case in a small town, Sun Valley doesn't have a public transportation system that people use for their commute.
