Brentwood is a somewhat small town located in the state of Maryland. With a population of 5,442 people and two constituent neighborhoods, Brentwood is the 170th largest community in Maryland.

Unlike some towns where white-collar or blue-collar occupations dominate the local economy, Brentwood is neither predominently one or the other. Instead, it has a mixed workforce of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Brentwood is a town of sales and office workers, service providers, and construction workers and builders.
