Frankfort is a somewhat small city located in the state of Indiana. With a population of 16,660 people and six constituent neighborhoods, Frankfort is the 50th largest community in Indiana. Much of the housing stock in Frankfort was built prior to World War II, making it one of the older and more historic cities in the country.

Frankfort is a blue-collar town, with 53.1% of people working in blue-collar occupations, while the average in America is just 24.7%.
