Fairmount is a somewhat small town located in the state of Indiana. With a population of 5,474 people and two constituent neighborhoods, Fairmount is the 119th largest community in Indiana. Fairmount has an unusually large stock of pre-World War II architecture, making it one of the older and more historic towns in the country.
