Everglades is a tiny coastal city (ie. on the ocean or tidally-influenced rivers) located in the state of Florida. With a population of 482 people and just one neighborhood, Everglades is the 477th largest community in Florida.

Unlike some cities , Everglades isn't mainly white- or blue-collar. Instead, the most prevalent occupations for people in Everglades are a mix of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Everglades is a city of service providers, sales and office workers, and farmers, fishers, or foresters. Everglades is an extremely popular vacation destination. A significant portion of the population is seasonal. Being a small city, Everglades does not have a public transit system used by locals to get to and from work.
