About Brush

Brush is a somewhat small city located in the state of Colorado. With a population of 5,095 people and just one neighborhood, Brush is the 76th largest community in Colorado.

Overall, Brush is a city of service providers, sales and office workers, and production and manufacturing workers. Residents of the city have the good fortune of having one of the shortest daily commutes compared to the rest of the country. On average, they spend only 17.03 minutes getting to work every day.

Brush is very much a car-oriented city. This is because the population of Brush isn't large enough or dense enough to support an extensive public transit system. It has a lot of rural roads, and the distance between houses can be quite large, which together tends to discourage walking and bicycling to work. 96.9% of residents commute to work in their own car (and the drive is typically to a job out of town). People also tend to drive out of town for other services as well, such as shopping, doctors appointments, and more.

Brush is a small city, and as such doesn't have a public transit system that people use to get to and from their jobs every day.
