Payette is a somewhat small city located in the state of Idaho. With a population of 7,020 people and two constituent neighborhoods, Payette is the 25th largest community in Idaho.

Payette is a blue-collar town, with 41.2% of people working in blue-collar occupations, while the average in America is just 24.7%. Overall, Payette is a city of sales and office workers, service providers, and production and manufacturing workers. There are especially a lot of people living in Payette who work in sales jobs (13.61%), office and administrative support jobs (9.82%), and law enforcement and fire fighting (5.26%).
