About Kuna
Kuna is a somewhat small city located in the state of Idaho. With a population of 5,492 people and just one neighborhood, Kuna is the 33rd largest community in Idaho.
Kuna has seen a significant amount of newer housing growth in recent years. Quite often, new home construction is the result of new residents moving in who are middle class or wealthier, attracted by jobs, a healthy local economy, or other amenities as they leave nearby or far away areas for greener pastures.

Kuna is very much a car-oriented city. This is because the population of Kuna isn't large enough or dense enough to support an extensive public transit system. It has a lot of rural roads, and the distance between houses can be quite large, which together tends to discourage walking and bicycling to work. 97.14% of residents commute to work in their own car (and the drive is typically to a job out of town). People also tend to drive out of town for other services as well, such as shopping, doctors appointments, and more.
Being a small city, Kuna does not have a public transit system used by locals to get to and from work.
