Clearwater is a larger medium-sized coastal city (ie. on the ocean or tidally-influenced rivers) located in the state of Florida. With a population of 107,925 people and 30 constituent neighborhoods, Clearwater is the 12th largest community in Florida.

Unlike some cities where white-collar or blue-collar occupations dominate the local economy, Clearwater is neither predominently one or the other. Instead, it has a mixed workforce of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Clearwater is a city of sales and office workers, professionals, and service providers. There are especially a lot of people living in Clearwater who work in office and administrative support jobs (17.17%), sales jobs (13.86%), and management occupations (9.87%).
