Fort Lupton is a somewhat small town located in the state of Colorado. With a population of 11,655 people and two constituent neighborhoods, Fort Lupton is the 40th largest community in Colorado.

Because occupations involving physical labor dominate the local economy, Fort Lupton is generally considered to be a blue-collar town. 41.6% of the Fort Lupton workforce is employed in blue-collar occupations, compared to the national average of 24.7%. Overall, Fort Lupton is a town of sales and office workers, construction workers and builders, and service providers.
