About Eads

Eads is a very small town located in the state of Colorado. With a population of 1,082 people and just one neighborhood, Eads is the 149th largest community in Colorado.

Unlike some towns where white-collar or blue-collar occupations dominate the local economy, Eads is neither predominently one or the other. Instead, it has a mixed workforce of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Eads is a town of managers, service providers, and sales and office workers. There are especially a lot of people living in Eads who work in farm management (12.32%), office and administrative support jobs (10.68%), and teaching (7.60%).

You will also find that a lot of people in Eads work in agricultural jobs - much more than in the average community in America. This will be quite apparent if you drive around town, as much of the landscape is dedicated to farms.

Compared to the rest of the country, citizens of Eads spend much less time in their cars: on average, their commute to work is only 17.77 minutes. This also means that noise and pollution levels in the town are less than they would otherwise be.

Eads is a small town, and as such doesn't have a public transit system that people use to get to and from their jobs every day.
