Akron is a very small town located in the state of Colorado. With a population of 1,711 people and two constituent neighborhoods, Akron is the 127th largest community in Colorado.

Akron is neither predominently blue-collar or white-collar, instead having a mixed workforce of both blue-collar and white-collar jobs. Overall, Akron is a town of sales and office workers, professionals, and service providers. There are especially a lot of people living in Akron who work in office and administrative support jobs (14.95%), sales jobs (13.10%), and teaching (6.08%).
