Imperial Beach is a medium-sized coastal city (ie. on the ocean or tidally-influenced rivers) located in the state of California. With a population of 26,980 people and four constituent neighborhoods, Imperial Beach is the 256th largest community in California.

6.59% of the workforce is employed in the armed forces, making the military a huge focus of life in Imperial Beach.
