Dardanelle is a very small city located in the state of Arkansas. With a population of 4,271 people and two constituent neighborhoods, Dardanelle is the 86th largest community in Arkansas.

Because occupations involving physical labor dominate the local economy, Dardanelle is generally considered to be a blue-collar town. 43.3% of the Dardanelle workforce is employed in blue-collar occupations, compared to the national average of 24.7%. Overall, Dardanelle is a city of sales and office workers, production and manufacturing workers, and service providers. There are especially a lot of people living in Dardanelle who work in office and administrative support jobs (12.38%), sales jobs (10.73%), and building maintenance and grounds keeping (5.20%).
