Brewton is a somewhat small city located in the state of Alabama. With a population of 5,661 people and four constituent neighborhoods, Brewton is the 127th largest community in Alabama.

Unlike some cities, Brewton isn't mainly white- or blue-collar. Instead, the most prevalent occupations for people in Brewton are a mix of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Brewton is a city of professionals, sales and office workers, and service providers. There are especially a lot of people living in Brewton who work in teaching (11.67%), office and administrative support jobs (10.69%), and sales jobs (10.18%).

Brewton is a small city, and as is often the case with smaller towns, the population isn't large or dense enough to support much in the way of a public transportation system.
