Because of many things, New Morgan is a great place for families with children to consider. First of all, many other families with children live here, making New Morgan a place where both parents and children are more likely to develop social ties with other families, as well as find family-oriented services and community. The borough's good public school district and large population of college-educated adults provide an environment conducive to academic values. With regard to real estate, New Morgan has a high rate of owner-occupied single family homes, which tends to reflect stability in the local community. Finally, New Morgan's overall crime rate ranks among the lowest in the country, making it one of the safest places to raise a family.

One of the benefits of New Morgan is that there is very little traffic. The average commute to work is 9.46 minutes, which is substantially less than the national average. Not only does this mean that the drive to work is less aggravating, but noise and pollution levels are lower as a result.

New Morgan is a small borough, and as is often the case with smaller towns, the population isn't large or dense enough to support much in the way of a public transportation system. In fact, there are many rural roads around New Morgan, which makes walking or biking to and from work a bit difficult. This makes for a very car-oriented town: 100% of residents commute to work by private automobile, and people often drive out of town for work, shopping, and other activities.

As is often the case in a small borough, New Morgan doesn't have a public transportation system that people use for their commute.
