Cando is a very small town located in the state of North Dakota. With a population of 1,648 people and just one neighborhood, Cando is the 35th largest community in North Dakota. Cando has a large stock of pre-World War II architecture, making it one of the older and more historic towns in the country.

Cando is neither predominently blue-collar or white-collar, instead having a mixed workforce of both blue-collar and white-collar jobs. Overall, Cando is a town of sales and office workers, managers, and service providers. There are especially a lot of people living in Cando who work in office and administrative support jobs (12.33%), farm management (8.59%), and healthcare support services (6.48%).

In addition, many people in Cando have jobs in agriculture, more so than in most other communities in America. As a result, you will see quite a number of farms around town.
