About Royal Oak
Royal Oak is a tiny coastal town (ie. on the ocean or tidally-influenced rivers) located in the state of Maryland. With a population of 656 people and just one neighborhood, Royal Oak is the 289th largest community in Maryland.
Unlike some towns where white-collar or blue-collar occupations dominate the local economy, Royal Oak is neither predominently one or the other. Instead, it has a mixed workforce of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Royal Oak is a town of professionals, sales and office workers, and service providers.
