Slemp is a tiny town located in the state of Kentucky. With a population of 616 people and just one neighborhood, Slemp is the 300th largest community in Kentucky.
Because occupations involving physical labor dominate the local economy, Slemp is generally considered to be a blue-collar town. 39.9% of the Slemp workforce is employed in blue-collar occupations, compared to the national average of 24.7%.
