Norton is a very small town located in the state of Kansas. With a population of 4,439 people and just one neighborhood, Norton is the 65th largest community in Kansas. Much of the housing stock in Norton was built prior to World War II, making it one of the older and more historic towns in the country.

Unlike some towns where white-collar or blue-collar occupations dominate the local economy, Norton is neither predominently one or the other. Instead, it has a mixed workforce of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Norton is a town of sales and office workers, service providers, and professionals.
