Skokie, IL Housing Market Trends

With a population of 65,497, 24,049 total housing units (homes and apartments), and a median house value of $410,544, Skokie real estate is some of the most expensive in Illinois, although Skokie home values aren't among America's most expensive.

Single-family detached homes are the single most common housing type in Skokie, accounting for 56.72% of the village's housing units.
