About Hull

Hull is a tiny town located in the state of Illinois. With a population of 807 people and just one neighborhood, Hull is the 627th largest community in Illinois. Much of the housing stock in Hull was built prior to World War II, making it one of the older and more historic towns in the country.

Unlike some towns where white-collar or blue-collar occupations dominate the local economy, Hull is neither predominently one or the other. Instead, it has a mixed workforce of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Hull is a town of sales and office workers, managers, and construction workers and builders. There are especially a lot of people living in Hull who work in office and administrative support jobs (15.57%), sales jobs (8.96%), and farm management (7.55%).

Another important characteristic of Hull is that a lot of people work in agricultural jobs, especially compared to most other communities in America, and there are quite a number of farms in town.

As is often the case in a small town, Hull doesn't have a public transportation system that people use for their commute.
