About Star

Star is a very small city located in the state of Idaho. With a population of 1,815 people and just one neighborhood, Star is the 67th largest community in Idaho.

Unlike some cities , Star isn't mainly white- or blue-collar. Instead, the most prevalent occupations for people in Star are a mix of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Star is a city of sales and office workers, professionals, and construction workers and builders. There are especially a lot of people living in Star who work in office and administrative support jobs (21.25%), sales jobs (8.48%), and teaching (6.85%).

Also of interest is that Star has more people living here who work in computers and math than 95% of the places in the US.

Star is a small city, and as is often the case with smaller towns, the population isn't large or dense enough to support much in the way of a public transportation system. In fact, there are many rural roads around Star, which makes walking or biking to and from work a bit difficult. This makes for a very car-oriented town: 97.34% of residents commute to work by private automobile, and people often drive out of town for work, shopping, and other activities.

As is often the case in a small city, Star doesn't have a public transportation system that people use for their commute.
