De Land is a medium-sized city located in the state of Florida. With a population of 20,980 people and nine constituent neighborhoods, De Land is the 128th largest community in Florida.

De Land is neither predominently blue-collar or white-collar, instead having a mixed workforce of both blue-collar and white-collar jobs. Overall, De Land is a city of sales and office workers, service providers, and professionals. There are especially a lot of people living in De Land who work in office and administrative support jobs (14.64%), sales jobs (9.97%), and food service (7.59%).
