Brent is a medium-sized town located in the state of Florida. With a population of 22,154 people and four constituent neighborhoods, Brent is the 116th largest community in Florida.

Unlike some towns where white-collar or blue-collar occupations dominate the local economy, Brent is neither predominently one or the other. Instead, it has a mixed workforce of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Brent is a town of sales and office workers, service providers, and professionals. There are especially a lot of people living in Brent who work in sales jobs (16.28%), office and administrative support jobs (14.21%), and food service (7.48%).

In addition, Brent is a major college town that has a very high percentage of its residents over 18 years old who are college students.
