Day Valley is a very small town located in the state of California. With a population of 3,578 people and just one neighborhood, Day Valley is the 570th largest community in California.

Day Valley is neither predominently blue-collar or white-collar, instead having a mixed workforce of both blue-collar and white-collar jobs. Overall, Day Valley is a town of professionals, sales and office workers, and managers. There are especially a lot of people living in Day Valley who work in sales jobs (13.54%), management occupations (13.43%), and office and administrative support jobs (10.41%).

Day Valley is a somewhat ethnically-diverse town. The people who call Day Valley home come from a variety of different races and ancestries. The most prevalent race in Day Valley is White, followed by African-American. Day Valley also has a sizeable Hispanic population (people of Hispanic origin can be of any race). People of Hispanic or Latino origin account for 13.02% of the town's residents. Important ancestries of people in Day Valley include English, Irish, German, Italian, Dutch, French, and European.
